Why do Men have Affairs

This is a question as old as time. However ladies, science has caught up and now we have scientific reasons to support and explain this very hurtful behavior.

First, it is NEVER your fault.  In fact look to the current media. How many celebrities have been caught in extramarital affairs with women most would say are less physicallt attractive, perhaps less intelligent and less cultured? Add to the fact that the wife is usually the one who has stood beside her political or professional athlete during the crazy roller coaster rie of fame.  For those men, they seem to think the real worl and morality doesn’t apply.

Let’s talk about your average man. Men are very visual. Men have a high sex drive and tend to need to masterbate frequently despite self reporting being in content sexually satisfying relationships.  The explosion of Internet pornography has added fuel to the fire because any and eveything they want is easly available.

Men tend to seperate sex from love. Many in my office have cried and expressed devestation-it was just sex-but he loves his wife.  This is not a get out of jail card, but men cheat because they like variety, the thrill of the chase, the adrenaline rush of being naughty and possibly getting caught.

We will use this information to develop a very specific action plan to get him back.

First? do you really want him? Today, write down all of the good, bad and ugly in a notebook or journal just for you.  Then, set it aside, console girlfriends, and we will start step two tomorrow once you know what you want. You are in the driver’s seat. Take your power back. It’s about him, not you.
